Bio My Design Philosophy
Truly good design captures more than one of the natural senses. Sensationalism. I like to conceptualize a design, then break it down in layers or sections to see or feel it in different ways. When my original artwork is created, it is an extension of my emotions inside and out. Textures mimic patterns or even sporatic impulses. Seeing with the eye is not always "beautiful", but being able to feel art on another plane brings one into it, so the viewer can capture a like experience as I have when creating it.
My Inspiration
Mainly, I am inspired by my children. They are truly the gift I am most proud. My kids influence a lot of what is going on around me. Daily life and the journeys we have together. I get ideas from their joys, sorrows, and the things they teach me every day. Yes, my kids teach me something new every day.
The growth we have as a family is my inspiration to continue to create.
My Materials
I work in an array of mediums; but, oil painting is my forte. I love creating and learning new techniques.
You will find me changing my style from time to time, and it is purely based on influence of experiences.
I also work with clay sculpting, ceramics, acrylic, graphite, digital media, charcoal, ink, and watercolors.
